Birthday Fishing Tackle Box

This project reminds me of the fishermen in my life, my grandpa, my hubby, and now my little man. Men, it may be to time to pass your old tackle box on to your son or grandson for their birthday. For added presentation, clean the tackle box and fill it with edible goodies like gummy worms, fishy crackers, and chocolate covered pretzel rods. Afterwards, you can fill their box with official fishing supplies and take them on an official fishing trip. For Teal Bird flair, I designed an orange fish scale patterned birthday card.  

THE TAKE AWAY: Some of the best things that I own are things passed down to me from my grandparents. I love to bake and often opt to use my late Grandma Elsa’s old electric hand mixer over my fancy Kitchen Aid just because it reminds me of her.
