Oops, He Did It Again!

A while back, I featured Paint Sample Paint Party invitations because “friends shouldn’t let friends live with horrible paint jobs”? Well, it happened again.  After my post, my adorably determined hubby thought he would redeem himself by doing a stellar independent paint job on our home’s interior.  He started out great, but has grown a bit tired of it all. Let me point out that I am helping by painting from baseboard to as high as I can reach, but because we have tall ceilings, he is responsible for finishing up the high parts on a ladder.  We have now moved abroad in our collection, with a paint spot on the ceiling the shape of some country I have never been to before.  To top it off, he contracted my little man to paint around the baseboards.  I am proud of his efforts, but like father, like son.

THE TAKE AWAY: My apologies in advance to the wonderful woman that marries our son one day.  My advice to you is don’t let him pick up the paint brush.  Put an interior painter on your wedding registry and after that, never renovate, never move!
