Stepping Out on Your Own
I recently made business cards for a special lady. With over 20 years of commercial cleaning service experience, she has decided to take these skills and start a cleaning business that is truly her own. I have seen many people scrambling to find “that million dollar idea” and it is often unrelated to their passions or experiences. As a result, when that idea doesn’t produce the desired outcome when they want it to, they give in and start the scramble all over again. So, I find it very inspiring to be making business cards for someone who has put many years into her craft and is continually look for ways to expand her reach.
THE TAKE AWAY: Sometimes it’s just time to step out on your own. And when you do, consider focusing your business around something that you have already invested some time, passion, knowledge, and energy into.
And if you see my very non-athletic self trying to become the next tennis great, please kindly tell me to reconsider or at the least, get me some tennis lessons.
