Design: We’ve Moved! Notes

My family just recently moved and I am sure that I am not alone in feeling that moving is truly chaotic. Packing, unpacking, cleaning, painting, arranging, rearranging, and the list goes on and on. One of the things on the list that often gets overlooked is letting your friends and family know where they can now reach you. So, when you head to change your address and/or order a new mail key at the post office, place your “we’ve moved!” cards (like the ones I designed above) in the mail as well.

THE TAKE AWAY: Being that I am sometimes overambitious (some like to call it unrealistic), I wanted to be completely “settled in” on the first day of our move. Naturally, that didn’t happen and that’s okay. If you keep reminding yourself to tackle one home related project at a time, before you know it, it will feel like home sweet home.
