EVENT: Tea Party Birthday

Growing up the only girl with three brothers in my family, I would not exactly say that I am a “girly girl”. But I do remember my family throwing me a tea party when I was about five years old (and yes, my father and three brothers had to participate). It was awesome and that memory was the inspiration for this 5th Birthday Tea Party project. Gather teacups and saucers from your home collection, have guests bring their favorite cup and saucer, or purchase mixed-matched designs in the same color palette from yard sales, thrift stores, etc. For Teal Bird flair, I designed a custom teapot invitation and matching tea packet covers.

TAKE AWAY: A big thanks to my very manly brothers and dad for attending my tea party. I really had a memorable time. And I will be forcing my very manly hubby and boys to attend our little lady’s tea party when she turns five too.
