My Wedding Programs, Pre Teal Bird

This is a blast from the Pre-Teal Bird past. I ran across my actual wedding program from over six years ago. Around that time, I had just finished my master’s thesis, got a job with Bank One (now Chase), bought a car, and moved back home with my mom to save money for the wedding and our first place. Let’s just say we were on a strict budget. So, I decided to make our ‘Day Of’ stationery. I made these programs using Microsoft word, my home printer, a $5 package of card stock, a borrowed paper trimmer, and tiny, silver brads as fasteners. Very easy on the budget!

THE TAKE AWAY: The Teal Bird seed was sown at that moment. Six years later, I am designing affordable ‘Day Of’ stationery for other couples on a budget. How exciting!
