Photography: Hide & Seek

A quick pause for a water break!

This shoot stars my little man.  I have been a mom long enough to know that taking photos of your little ones can really be a task.  There’s always a bit of pressure to get “the shot” for grandma’s brag book, or “the shot” for this year’s Christmas card.  Minutes in, the expectation lowers to just one of them with their eyes open.  I took this pressure off of both of us with a game of hide and seek. 

THE TAKE AWAY: Make your agenda about letting your little ones be themselves.  Follow them as they share who they are with you.  I love these photos because they are a true reflection of who my little man is.  He is playful, silly, and just all kinds of cute!  Chasing him around the park as he played hide and seek was such a luxury for me and exactly what I want to remember.
