Wedding Anniversary Gifts by Year
I’m really into the traditional wedding anniversary gifts by year. I am counting down to the year of the ruby, but I’ll have to put in another 34 years. So, what do we get for six amazing years of marriage? We get iron and sweet treats. I’ll take it! With my husband in mind, we are taking a golf weekend (get it? iron, golf clubs! lucky man!). For the sweet treats, we picked out some of our favorites, put them in mason jars, and packed them in a wrought iron basket to carry on the road with us. For a little Teal Bird flair, I designed custom anniversary cards for us to write our sweet sentiments for each other in. I also designed matching card stock lids to label the mason jar treats. The custom lids can be used on top of or in place of the flat metal lid with the screw top fitting over it. This is a quick and easy way to change out the labels on your jars for any occasion without having to apply and clean off sticky adhesive labels.
THE TAKE AWAY: I must say that I don’t love golf as much as my husband does, but I do love to see him happy. My hubby was able to seal the deal by selling me on the idea that golf would provide “quiet time that we get to spend together all alone”. Isn’t he good? Golf just might be a bit romantic after all. We shall see!
